WE ARE
Sta-Tru Wheels was founded in 1984 in a home garage. We have grown through the years and have built over 4 million wheels. As you might guess, during this time we have learned a lot about how to build wheels the right way.
With this knowledge we proudly conceived our very own, high-end wheel brand, Speed Tuned Wheels. Speed Tuned was created in 2010. It takes the knowledge of what materials work best and implements the stringent wheel building process we have developed over the past 30 years to create some of the most reliable, high performing, value bicycle wheels on the market.

I have been riding both the cobalt and iodine and the carbon wheels were every bit as stiff as either of those wheelsets. The bike rode better than it has with any wheelset I have used previously and the downhills were really fun as the weight kept the “gyroscopic” effect of the wheels at a minimum and allowed me to flick the bike around much easier than I am used to.”
